The best beaches around the Mar Menor

The Mar Menor is ringed by dozens of beaches, each with its own character. Playa de Los Narejos is wide, gently shelving and backed by a palm-lined promenade — a favourite for families.

For more space head to Playa del Pedrucho, while the narrow strip of La Manga gives you the lagoon on one side and the open Mediterranean on the other. Wherever you go, the water stays warm and shallow well out from shore.
